A bank calls a Coastie: “We’ve detected some unusual activity on your credit card. Someone bought groceries in Seattle.” He says, “That’s where I live. That was me.” The bank explains that he normally buys nothing for weeks, then spends $1,500 on alcohol and nightclubs in Central America: “For your protection, we’re cancelling your card.” He agrees: “Yes, that’s probably wise.”

“Someone used your card to buy 500 cases of Monster.” “No, that was me.”
