This sucks / The Coast Guard does so much cool stuff, and everyone thinks we’re fricking lifeguards / You don’t have to tell me. I was C.O. of a cutter that invaded Iraq ahead of the Navy in 2003, through an active minefield, and no one realizes we were even there! / That’s nothin’! I was on a cutter that got shot through with explosive rounds in Vietnam, and everyone thinks we were draft dodgers! / Bah! You’ve all got it easy! / In 1944, we trained special forces swimmers with the OSS, and then blew up enemy outposts in a mangrove swamp in Burma, and all we got was a movie called “Onionhead!”
