Making Fun

Mar 19, 2017 — Comic #106
A TV host roasts each military branch: the Navy is “only here while Maytag fixes their ship,” the Army holds the Marines’ beer, the Marine is handed crayons, and the Air Force is good for defending against “an intercontinental ballistic golf ball.” She signs off without mentioning the Coast Guard, announcing that tomorrow’s topic is “the nation’s most-forgotten uniformed branch: the Public Health Service!” The lone Coastie shouts, “Oh God damn you!”

If you’re laughing at the Coast Guard, you at least know we’re there. I call that progress.
