An officer hands the bridge watch a sheet: “New night orders are out. Here you go.” The orders read: “CO’s Night Orders: 1. Continue to patrol within box as before. 2. Maneuver as necessary to avoid contacts. 3. Monitor for suspicious vessels. 4. The floor is lava.” The next panel shows the watch team keeping their feet off the deck all night: one standing on the radar console, one balanced on an upturned bucket, and one sprawled across the chart table.
