On a cutter’s bridge, a Coastie points out a rundown vessel: “Whoa, ma’am...there’s a shady-looking boat over there! Paint’s all cracked, sketchy people on deck. Should we board it?” His officer replies, “Nah, that’s just the Sherman.” He says, “Oh, of course.” The vessel is an aging Coast Guard cutter.
