At night on deck, a navigator holds a sextant: “Tonight, we’ll be navigating by the stars.” She takes a sighting, then shouts, “Mercury is in retrograde! Reverse course!” The helmsman replies seriously, “Mercury in retrograde, aye, ma’am!”
