Crew members on a flight deck wear eclipse glasses and one wears a welding mask: “So cool our ship’s in the path of totality.” Someone warns, “Don’t look at the sun through the big eyes!” Another says, “Once the eclipse is at max, we’ll actually be able to see solar flares with our own eyes.” The mustached Chief hears only “Solar... FLARES?!” and, pointing at the eclipsed sun, orders, “Search pattern on the sun!”
