May 30, 2021 — Comic #283
In heaven, a Marine with a halo asks a haloed Coastie, “In the afterlife, we Marines guard the streets of heaven. What do you Coasties do?” The Coastie says, “Same thing we do in life.” The final panel shows a ghostly Coast Guard helicopter crew with halos lowering a rescue swimmer toward a ring buoy near a burning ship.
