Haunted Ship

Oct 30, 2020 — Comic #269
An officer leads a mother and her costumed child on a Halloween tour: “This way to the haunted ship!” The rusty pier is “the normal part.” Stops include “A non-rate going on liberty!” (“The only difference between me and a pirate is the UCMJ”), hungover crew in “the unhallowed halls of the living dead,” and finally “a mandatory morale event.” The child says, “Mommy, I want to leave.” The officer replies, “We all do, kid.”

Behold! The pale ghost of your social life while you’re stationed on a cutter!

Happy Halloween, folks
