Handwashing Instructions

Mar 13, 2020 — Comic #247
A step-by-step handwashing chart, each panel showing a hand-washing motion timed to an old sailor’s boast: “Me mother was a mermaid, me father was King Neptune, I was born on the crest of the wave...” Midway through “And when I spits,” the sailor actually spits on the floor. Onlookers react: “Ew! Seriously?!” “And the floor!” “Go wash your hands again!”

Like we do in every crisis, the Coast Guard will keep working even if our own people start to fall victim. There’s a good chance some of us - or our families - are going to get hit hard by Coronavirus. If you’re doing alright, consider giving to Coast Guard Mutual Assistance - they’re already preparing to help out Coasties and their families if they can’t make ends meet because of the pandemic
