Calories

Mar 19, 2015 — Comic #22
Two panels at a fast-food counter. “The theory”: a customer says, “That double hamburger has a lot of calories. I guess I’ll select a healthier option.” “The reality”: holding a can of almonds, she says, “That double hamburger has fewer calories than a half-cup of almonds. I’ll take five.” The menu lists calorie counts for burgers, fries, and a soft drink.

Nutrition is much more complicated than just counting calories. Otherwise, I could justify a Twinkie-only diet.
